Menstrual disorders

Almost every woman notices various change in discharge of menstrual fluid during her menstruating years. She could experience more or less painful periods, or a loss of blood that's heavier, less or different than before. For each woman, the degree and duration of these changes differ. Complaints should first be examined by a doctor. It could be that symptoms are caused by endometriosis or polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Excess weight or contraceptives

Sometimes being overweight can cause menstrual changes, as can the use of contraception. It is possible that you could experience fewer symptoms if you change to another form of contraception. Symptoms are often temporary and can also improve with a change in nutrition.

Dairy

Dairy products are known to increase mucous around the organs, including the uterus. This can lead to more pain and cramping during menstruation. The removal of dairy products from the diet can significantly reduce cramping.
